The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, October 17 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have it out with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Also coming up, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will spiral. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will suspect Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will have advice for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
Y&R spoilers tease Claire will tell her parents that when it comes to work, it’s like Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) flips a switch and he becomes vindictive. He’s also making things worse between his parents. But Cole and Victoria will tell her to stay out of it. “Their issues run very deep,” Victoria will say.

Then Claire will tell them Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) plays a role in all of it. “What has he done now?” Victoria will ask. And she’ll say Jack confided that he suspects Victor is the mystery Glissade investor. Not to mention, he’s manipulating Kyle.
Meanwhile, an angry Diane will ask Jack why he hasn’t had Kyle arrested for corporate theft. But Jack will say they don’t have any proof. “Face it Jack, your relationship with Kyle is over and the sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be.” Then she’ll storm off.
Speaking of Kyle, he’ll meet with Victor at the Jazz Club. The Mustache will warn him things are going to become sticky. “You know your father’s not going to let this go.” But he’ll add they’ve covered all their bases with the new product.
After Kyle leaves, Jack will walk in and confront Victor. “It’s all about Nikki, isn’t it?” Jack will ask. “Paying me back for trying to help her.” But Victor will tell him he spent a night of debauchery in that hotel room, almost killing his wife with his kindness.
Upstairs, Kyle will run into Diane. She’ll congratulate him on the new Glissade product that he stole from Jabot. However, he’ll tell her to do them both a favor and stay away. “I intend to see you punished to the fullest extent of the law,” Diane will reply. So, Kyle will accuse his mother of caring more about Jabot than him.
Jack will walk in and Diane will expect him to back her up. But he’ll do the opposite. So, Diane will say she’s done with Kyle. She’ll tell Jack he’s a poor imitation of the loving boy she raised. “Until you didn’t,” he’ll reply. “Until you left and never looked back.” Then Claire will arrive and ask Victor what’s happening. “Something very interesting,” he’ll reply. “I love it.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Realizes Something Is Wrong
Diane will tell Jack she doesn’t deserve that. But he’ll ask if he got it wrong. “You didn’t cut and run when Kyle was a little boy?” A teary Diane will tell Jack he’s being mean. “You are turning out to be who everyone warned me about,” he’ll reply. “A raging narcissist who only cares about herself.”
Jack will accuse her of worming herself into their lives, playing the perfect wife and mother. “Until you got exactly what you came back for, the top spot at Jabot.” But Diane will ask how he can say that. “The fact is, you abandoned Kyle when he needed you most,” he’ll reply. And she’ll take off.
At Society, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will tell Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) he found disturbing evidence at Daniel’s apartment. He’ll tell her everything he’s going to say is off the record. “I found evidence in his apartment.” So, he’ll ask if Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) would have hidden something in the apartment to protect her dad. And Summer will say of course not.
Finally, Daniel will meet his mom at the park. He’ll tell her he and Lucy have to leave the apartment because a forensic search is going on. “Nothing makes sense anymore.” Daniel will tell his mom they found Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) phone and some bloody towels. He’ll add the passcode on her phone had changed. Plus, there was a text to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) saying she was afraid of him.
“I don’t know what’s happening here but there’s something very, very wrong,” Phyllis will reply. Daniel will mention that Sharon told Chance Heather was angry with him. “She came over to the apartment to find me that night.” Phyllis will say she doesn’t know anything that goes on in that woman’s mind. “But I don’t trust it.”
She’ll add the whole thing makes no sense. She’ll ask Daniel why Heather would unburden herself to Sharon, someone who had been harassing their family for weeks. “This is odd, this is very, very odd.” Lucy will arrive and Daniel will tell her the police found some evidence in the apartment. “Some one might be trying to frame me for killing mom.”
